Gorilla Safari and Mount Hiking Tours Uganda

Welcome to Uganda conserving high number of mountain gorillas in Africa. Visit the mostly known home to half of the endangered mountain gorilla known as the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park located in the south western part of Uganda which makes it to be a unique park from other parks found in Uganda. Bwindi national park on top of hosting these endangered mountain gorillas it also hosts 120 species of mammals,346 species of birds, 202 species of butterflies 163 species of trees,100 species of ferns, 27 species of frogs, chameleons and others. While in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park I noticed many tourist attraction activities which take place in the park like gorilla tracking the main attraction, nature walks and others.

On your arrival at Entebbe international airport and you will be welcomed by our guide and company representative and great each other and thereafter proceed to your hotel of residence for some resting and refreshment and our company representative will orient you about your trip and your auto rental car in Uganda as you prepare for tomorrow’s journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Dinner and overnight in your hotel of residence.

Very ready for long journey from Kampala to Bwindi Forest National Park and very early in the morning after your breakfast you will leave Kampala and pass via Masaka – Mbarara highway, there is a stopover at the equator for some photographs, adventure and some snacks and there after proceed with the journey. You will have your lunch en-route in Mbarara town and there after proceed through Kabale and then up to Bwindi.

With much excitement and prepared for gorilla trek in Bwindi very early in the morning after your breakfast you will head to park’s offices with your guide for briefing about the gorilla tracking and trekking rules and there after enter the jungle with a trained park ranger for guiding and start the tracking and you will have an opportunity of spotting and sighting other species like birds, mammals, butterflies, trees, monkeys and others. After discovering these great apes your allowed to stay around them for one hour while enjoying their entertainment, behaviours, unique characters and taking some photographs however flash cameras are not allowed for use and then after the tracking you will head back to the park offices for awarding of the certificate to you the visitor.

After experiencing this great African gorilla safari, you will be leaving Bwindi back to Mountain Rwenzori National Park via the Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha southern sector looking for the rare African tree climbing lions and much more wildlife and birds. Overnight stay at the Ishasha River Camp and then early in the morning we took the early morning game drive looking for the early riser cats like lions and leopards and lucky enough we spotted many of the lions on their morning hunt of the Uganda Kobs. After this experience transfer to the bottom of the Mount Rwenzori and we had our lunch at the Rubbon Camp and relax.

Mount Hiking Adventures in Uganda

Welcome to Mountain Rwenzori National Park which is also called mountains of the moon and is located in the western part of Uganda with mountain climbing as its most known tourist attraction. Mountain Rwenzori is Africa’s tallest mountain range exceeded in altitude by mountain Kilimanjaro and mountain Kenya carrying Africa’s third, fourth and fifth highest peaks that are visible for miles around and so endeavor to come and witness mountain Rwenzori with its geographical features while in mountain Rwenzori national park I experienced mountain hiking as the most attractive activity in the park.

Day one is your arrival at Entebbe international airport and you will be welcomed by our guide and company representative and you will be guided up to the assigned place of residence for resting and then even your dinner and overnight in the same place. Day two very early in the morning after your breakfast prepare for your journey from Kampala to mountain Rwenzori national park and the journey is from Kampala via Fort portal and then up to mountain Rwenzori national park. Lunch is provided en-route and some stops over for snacks. After reaching the park you can go for some resting and refreshment as you wait for tomorrow’s activities.

Day three while in mountain Rwenzori national park very early in the morning after your breakfast you prepare for mountain climbing activity which so amazing and there is a six –day loop trail which rewards hike taking in all vegetation zones and glacier peaks. There is ascent to major peaks with in the Rwenzori ranges along both routes. These include ascents to Margherita on mountain Stanley, Vittorio Emmanuelle on mountain Speke and Edward on mountain Baker. These hikes offer commanding and panoramic views of other peaks with in the ranges. On top of mountain climbing you have an opportunity of sighting and spotting other species like birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. After along trail of mountain climbing you head back for some resting and refreshment

Day four after your experience in mountain hiking you prepare very early in the morning for your long journey from mountain Rwenzori national park back to Kampala and it will be from the park to Kampala via Fort portal Mubende highway. lunch is provided en-route and then proceed with the journey up to Kampala for your return flight from Entebbe airport back home.
