Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, is known to habit half of the remaining endangered mountain gorillas in the mist.

 

A list of gorilla families and groups are found in the jungle and these families includes Mubare, Habyanyanja, Rushegura, Nkuringo, Bitukura, Oruzogo, Kyaguliro, Bweza, Busingye, Kahungye, Mishaya, Nshongi, Bikingi & Bushaho.

 

All these gorilla families offers gorilla trekking tours experience to travelers visiting the park, but for groups like Bikingi & Bushaho are habituated for the gorilla habituation experience that take place at the Rushaga sector of Bwindi forest.

 

More so travelers visit the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and here only one gorilla family, Nyakagezi is habituated for gorilla tours and for travelers trekking gorillas in Volcanoes & Virunga National Parks cross to Uganda via the Cyanika border to combine the experience and it is here you find the extraordinary experience of the Batwa Trail.
